Project which includes but is not limited to the construction of a pedestrian boat ramp along the Carson River upstream of the Mexican Dam for egress of small non-motorized watercraft (kayaks, small rafts, canoes and paddleboards) to enable safe portage around the dam. The project includes bank excavation and backfill with articulated concrete block, aggregate, rip-rap and boulders; construction of a rockery retaining wall on each side of the ramp; construction/installation of post and pole fence; revegetation of disturbed areas. Carson City will obtain a Grading permit, a Working in Waterways permit, and will produce and obtain the SWPPP with Contractor named on all permits. The Contractor will be responsible for site safety and protection of public from hazards at all times during construction. Sealed bids must be submitted in accordance with the bid documents, drawings and plans, specifications and special conditions related hereto.
