1.1 The work required by the Contractor may take place during project planning (feasibility studies and evaluating potential new projects), preliminary and/or final design, and design services during construction (supporting engineering, design management, construction, integration, operations, testing, training, cutover, maintenance). 1.2 The work the Contractor will be required to be a part of, may include: • work performed by MARTA 'in-house' using MARTA staff, • work performed by other Contractors contracted with MARTA, or • work performed by a combination of MARTA 'in -house' staff and other Contractor staff. 1.3 The Authority's system assets that may be the subject of Work Orders, issued to the Contractor for performance, may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Traction Power Substations/Third Rail Power • Train Control & Signaling System • Fare Collection System • Communications System • Control Center • Corrosion Control
