Funded by the State of New Jersey Department of Children and Families, the Camden City School District – School Based Youth Services Program (SBYSP) is designed to offer on-site, supportive services to students and their families in five Camden City schools. SBYSP core service components include Mental Health, Healthy Youth Development, Violence Prevention, Job Readiness, Advocacy, and Resources/Referrals. Services are free, confidential, offered daily, including before school, after school, and summer hours. The overall function of the SBYSP is to minimize the barriers associated with student educational success. The service term is for the 2025-2026 SY. One agency will be selected for funding. APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS: Applicants responding to the RFP will be required to provide professional expertise and capacity that will include: Employment of (5) FTE Mental Health Practitioners; (5) FTE Youth Development Specialist; (1) High School Director and (4) Middle School Program Coordinators; to achieve the following outcome with SBYSP-referred students: o Improved behavioral stability o Improved emotional well-being o Improved educational performance o Improved school attendance Assuming financial responsibility for contracted employees. Professional development relative to adolescent development, positive youth development, teen parenting, and early childhood development. Monitoring contractual staff’s attendance and employment records. Facilitate the hiring of contractual staff as approved by the SBYSP Project Manager, Submit monthly expenditure reports and invoices for reimbursement to SBYSP Project Manager
