The City is seeking qualified architectural services to perform the following: Code Compliance and ADA Accessibility Analysis o Conduct a comprehensive code review per current State of Connecticut Building Codes. o Perform a full ADA accessibility evaluation of the building, including restrooms, entrances, and circulation areas. o Provide recommendations and required upgrades based on changes of use from school to community center. Architectural Design Services o Prepare 100 % design plans for accessible bathroom renovations (quantity and location to be determined through analysis). o Design entrance and egress modifications as needed to ensure ADA and life safety compliance. o Deliver conceptual drawings and final construction documentssuitable for public bidding. o Coordinate with building officials and other regulatory agencies. Cost Estimation o Provide construction cost estimates for proposed design work and compliance upgrades.
