Specifications include, but are not limited to: : Rappahannock County seeks to prequalify bidders who will then be eligible to bid on a project to repair/restore the building envelope (masonry, wood trim, roofing, windows, etc.) of county-owned historic buildings located in the town of Washington, Virginia. Two buildings are the primary focus of the project, but the prequalification may be extended to other nearby historical county-owned buildings. The first primary focus building is the historic jail and its additions. The historic jail is a masonry structure designed in 1833 and built shortly thereafter. The second primary focus building is a historic church that has been deconsecrated. The historic church is a wood clapboard structure built in 1889.
