The Kansas State School for the Deaf is seeking competitive bid proposals from qualified vendors to provide an Electric Vehicle program. This program should include an Electric Vehicle kit, tools and curriculum for building and disassembling the vehicle. The State School for the Deaf (KSSD) requires an Electric Vehicle (EV) program that contains a comprehensive, hands-on curriculum designed to educate on the fundamentals of electric vehicle technology. This curriculum should enable learners to build, test, drive, and disassemble a fully functional EV. The EV program should include a reusable complete EV kit that can be disassembled and rebuilt each term, ensuring longevity and cost-effectiveness. The kit should consist of the building materials with all necessary tools and safety components. The Agency requests the EV kit contains the following, or similar: o 96V Lithium Ion or other high-powered drive system o Turn-Key or similar system o Lighting systems o All required wiring and components be color-coded for ease of instruction. o Preferably unpainted glider chassis frame. o Two (2) seats.
