Qualified and experienced public accounting firm, licensed to practice public accountancy in the State of Texas, whose principal officers are independent certified public accountants. The selected firm will prepare the financial statements of the City of Eagle Pass and perform the City’s annual financial audit for the fiscal years ending September 30, 2026, 2027, and 2028, with the option to extend services for the subsequent fiscal years ending September 30, 2029, and 2030. The financial statement audit will determine whether: The financial statements present fairly the financial position, results of operations, and cash flows or changes in financial positions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
