Work will include the removal of the existing timber deck, 6 steel girder superstructure, masonry and concrete abutments and replacement with a single span 53'-6" (27" depth) precast prestressed concrete deck beam bridge on a 35 degree skew with spillthru abutments on steel piles. Project includes railing, HMA roadway approaches, and other incidental roadway items. Project length is 575 feet. Some quantities included in the contract are: EARTH EXCAVATION 203 CU YD; AGGREGATE BASE COURSE, TYPE B 8" 973 SQ YD; HOT-MIX ASPHALT SURFACE COURSE, IL-95, MIX "C", N95 174 TON; CONCRETE STRUCTURES 43.8 CU YD; PRECAST PRESTRESSED CONCRETE DECK BEAMS (27" DEPTH) 1,379 SQ FT; REINFORCEMENT BARS, EPOXY COATED 6,360 POUND; STEEL RAILING, TYPE S1 107 FOOT; FURNISHING STEEL PILES HP 12X53 344 FOOT; WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE SYSTEM 153 SQ YD; STONE RIPRAP, CLASS A6 271 SQ YD.
