The overall parcel size of The Fort Lupton Readiness Center is 25 acres. The Military vehicle parking area of the site is enclosed with security fencing. The Privately Owned Vehicles (POV) parking is located adjacent to the buildings. The existing pole-mounted fixtures are installed just beyond the paving in the grass buffer area or within the parking lanes. Pole-Mounted Lighting Fixtures: The Fort Lupton Readiness Center contains twenty-two (22) light poles/bases in the POV lot and loop access road. These fixtures will be replaced in the same location as the existing. Each light will be converted to energy efficient LED lamps. The concrete light pole bases will be evaluated for wind loads and conformance with Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection requirements. Any light pole bases that are not in compliance will be replaced with 3-foot concrete base heights. The contractor will also be required to provide temporary lighting for the site until the end of the project to maintain adequate illumination and safety The bollard light fixtures and flagpole lights already have LED lights installed, ensuring energy efficiency across the site. Additionally, all the wall pack lights around the building are currently equipped with LED lights. In addition, we have two alternates to be added: • Alternate #1 - 5 new light poles need to be installed. Please ensure that all light poles have bases constructed in compliance with applicable codes and standards to ensure uniformity and safety. • Alternate #2 - add a wall mounted light as shown in the plans.
