Required preliminary engineering services may involve, but are not limited to: project management, administration and meetings; field surveys; environmental studies (including historic and archaeological resources investigations, hazardous waste evaluations, wetland identification, delineation and mitigation, Section 4(f) evaluations, PNDI and threatened and endangered species research); Categorical Exclusion Evaluation preparation; subsurface utility investigation; preliminary plans preparation (including roadway, maintenance and protection of traffic, signing and pavement marking, utility, drainage, right-of-way); field view(s); Design Review meeting submission; pavement design; preliminary erosion and sedimentation control plan/NPDES permit preparation; PUC and railroad coordination; Quality Development Preparation and ASTA Powerproject scheduling.
