In general, the work to be completed for the Town of Earl Park Water System Improvements project involves the construction of approximately 5,315 lineal feet of 6-inch water main (directionally drilled); 175 lineal feet of6-inch water main (open-cut); 8-inch, 6-inch and 4-inch tapping valves and sleeves; 6-inch gate valves; new fire hydrant assemblies; replacement of existing fire hydrant assemblies with new assemblies; abandonment of existing valves; installation of new¾-inch service lines via directional drilled and open-cut; 2-inch service lines installed via open-cut; reconnection of service lines to existing water meters; and other associated items necessary to complete the work as shown in the plans and detailed in the specifications.
