Vehicle Specifications & Usage Requirements Purpose of Vehicles These vehicles are to be used exclusively for instructional and educational purposes within a controlled training environment. They will serve as training aids for academic programs such as automotive technology, mechanical systems education, and related vocational courses. Operational Restrictions The vehicles will not be operated on public roads under any circumstances. They will be used solely on school property, training facilities, or designated off-road instructional areas. Because they will not be driven on public streets, state motor vehicle registration, licensing, and insurance are not required. Compliance with Procurement Specifications All vehicles must conform to the model years, trim levels, options, and configurations listed in the bidding schedule. Submissions that do not match the listed specifications will not be considered. Vehicles must be in the specified condition (new/unused unless otherwise stated) and free of any modifications outside the described requirements. Condition & Safety Requirements All vehicles must be fully operational and include all manufacturer-standard safety equipment. Although they will not be road-driven, vehicles must meet applicable manufacturer safety standards to ensure safe educational handling. Delivery & Documentation Vehicles must be delivered to the designated educational facility as stated in the bid documents. Vendor shall provide all relevant owner’s manuals, technical documentation, and training materials to support instructional use.
