The required services to be provided are REMISOL Advanced software services. The REMISOL Advance is a data management software system, specifically a middleware solution, developed by Beckman Coulter for clinical laboratories. The HHSC Regional Clinical Laboratory at Austin State Hospital (RCLA) requires the purchase of REMISOL Advance software. The software is needed to allow continuous chemistry laboratory testing for patients at the state hospitals, state supported living centers, and Texas Center for Infectious Disease(TCID). Contractor is responsible to provide the following services: 1. Middleware software that is a clinical informatics tool designed from a laboratory's perspective to allow for maximum functionality, without requiring oversight or involvement from the IT department. 2. Command Central that allows execution of software from a single location and view, manage, and operate all instrumentation from a single work terminal. 3. Rule-writing engine to manage quality assurance, delta checks, standard reference ranges, reflex testing, dilution protocols, rerun criteria, and automatic add-ons. 4. Quality control crossover capabilities to the national QCnet program. 5. Automated urine chemistry capabilities, eliminating the need to manual program urine chemistries and ultimately preventing manual, clerical errors. 6. Protection and Service package for software.
