Major Components: a. Structural Work: New reinforced concrete dividers, baffle walls, columns, and roof slab modification for equipment access. b. Civil Work: Pavement extension and new plant drains connected to existing infrastructure. c. Architectural Work: New access hatches and handrails on the existing SHARON® tank roof; roof membrane upgrades and chemical resistant coatings. d. HVAC Work: Replacement of unit heaters, hot water pumps, and addition of air conditioning in EQ Tank Room. e. Mechanical Work: Installation of: • New centrate piping • Two centrate screens • Four blowers • Settling tank equipment, including submersible solids pumps and scum removal system • MBBR system components, including: i. Biofilm carriers (media) ii. Aeration grids and piping iii. Chemical dosing system • Compressed air mixing system, including: i. Compressors ii. Receiver tanks iii. Valves and control panels • New plant effluent pumps • Replacement of chemical system in the Combined Chemical Building (CCB). f. Electrical Work: Reuse and upgrade Motor Control Centers, new wiring, and conduit modifications. g. Demolition Work: Removal of existing SHARON® blowers, reactor divider walls, plant effluent water pumps in Aeration Tank-13. Demolition of parts of the existing reactor roof for new access openings, existing chemical piping and dilution water skid in CCB, existing underground carbon storage (glycerol) system. h. Instrumentation & Controls (I&C): Installation of a main control panel for the MBBR process, integration with chemical and centrate systems, fiber-optic communication system for process monitoring and control.
