a. Replace one existing end-of-life 120-ton air-cooled chiller in kind. b. Replace two existing chilled water pumps with pumps as part of the chiller package. c. Replace existing associated chilled water piping and valves as indicated. d. Replace the two existing hot water pumps to improve accessibility. Replace existing associated hot water piping and valves as indicated. e. Add controls for the new replacement equipment that will interface with the existing Carrier i-Vu control system. f. Replace the existing 80 kW generator with two new generators. Provide new automatic transfer switches and docking stations. g. Coordinate with the utility electric provider (AEP) to rotate the existing utility transformer 90 degrees to allow workspace clearance. h. Provide a new main service distribution panel. BHB: 2024.012.000 011000 - 2 i. Construct a new equipment yard and provide site work to address utility replacements/upgrades associated with equipment replacement. j. The building shall remain in operation during the day but can be closed temporarily for power outages or equipment connections as allowed by the Owner. This building houses a food court and kitchen with refrigeration equipment. Temporary power shall be provided to serve the food refrigeration equipment, exit illumination, and exit signage during power outages.
