Contractor will produce an archaeological work plan within two weeks of the notice to proceed. We will initiate fieldwork for the project within two weeks of the accepted archaeological work plan and accompanying permit to conduct the archaeological investigation. All artifacts recovered will be taken to contractor’s lab for processing and analysis. Following analysis, a full technical report meeting the standards of the IDNR, DHPA will be written and submitted to IDNR, DHPA for approval. A draft technical report will be generated within four weeks following the completion of field work. Upon approval, the archaeology report will be subject to tribal review. All recovered artifacts will be curated at Ball State University. Contractor will: • Prepare an archaeological work plan and submit it to IDNR, DHPA for review. • Conduct a records review and literature search. • Conduct the Phase 1a archaeological investigation. • Draft an archaeological Phase 1a report of the records check and the results of the Phase 1a field survey. • Curate any recovered artifacts with Ball State University (if applicable).
