Lamar University, a Division I public institution located in Beaumont, Texas, and a proud member of the Southland Conference (SLC), is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide comprehensive strategic consulting services in NCAA compliance. The selected firm must possess demonstrated expertise in NCAA rules and regulations, Title IX compliance, and providing holistic reviews of intercollegiate athletic programs. These services aim to enhance the University’s compliance infrastructure, promote stability, and support sustained adherence to NCAA standards and best practices. Concurrently, the University is recruiting a qualified individual to serve as a staff Director of Athletics Compliance. This individual will lead all compliance efforts on campus and collaborate closely with the selected consulting firm, which will provide advisory support throughout the transitional period at a reduced level thereafter.
