The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Toll Division seeks information from the Tolling Vendor community on new and innovative technology that can offer WSDOT savings in capital and operating expenses, revenue protection, reduced time to implementation, reduced reliance on WSDOT infrastructure, efficient system transitions, and offer greater visibility and transparency in data and processes. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to begin cataloging those innovations and technologies, learning about the Tolling Vendor community’s current offerings, and understanding how those innovations and technologies can be leveraged by WSDOT. WSDOT seeks information from all interested vendors, whether you provide a full Roadside Toll System or specific technologies that supplement or integrate with toll systems. The RFI questions are grouped by Traditional Tolling Systems and Complementary Toll Technologies. Vendors may respond to either category or both.
