The University of Florida (UF) is seeking proposals from vendors for a comprehensive datacenter network to replace the existing datacenter network. This request includes datacenter infrastructure, automation/orchestration/visibility elements, datacenter interconnect (DCI), training, and lab/testing equipment. The scope of work for this ITN is separated into two lots, which may be awarded to the same vendor or different vendors in the University's sole discretion: Lot 1- Vendors responding to Lot 1 are to provide a design and system that meets or exceeds the specifications listed below beginning with section 1.2.1. The proposal will include design elements which demonstrate a highly available and redundant system across two (2) on-premises (on prem) datacenters, eight (8) km apart, with 99.999% uptime. Design requirements of high availability will include no single point of failure. Configuration and Installation of equipment will be handled by UFIT staff. A single day, on-site training opportunity covering the design and equipment that UF selects for up to 10 people should also be provided. Additional training credits or classes may be included in the proposal. Lot 2- Vendors responding to Lot 2 must be Arista partners of at least Authorized level.
