The work in general consists of the plans as it relates to Fire Station and Kitchen Restoration to include, Concrete, Framing & Drywall, Masonry, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Flooring, and general restoration to the walls, floors and ceiling that are impacted by the restoration. The impacted finishes listed on the plans and mentioned above, shall be continuous throughout restored areas and left as new or to match existing surrounding conditions. The existing mechanical duct work to remain. (Note: that there will be modifications to the supply & return duct work and HVAC room, as well as electrical and plumbing). New storefront, windows and doors are to be Miami-Dade County approved Impact Resistant with current NOA’s. The scope is inclusive of removing the existing windows, doors, garage overhead doors with all the ancillary accessories accompanies, i.e., Kantech security card access control systems, door sensors, electric door strikes, door hardware & lock systems to be replaced with new (refer to plans and specs for details in door schedule). All repairs such as drywall, stucco, painting, caulking, shutter removal, window shades removal and reinstallation associated with new windows and doors replacement are to be included in the bid price. Existing exterior roll-up doors are also to be removed and replaced with County approved 2023 FBC system and meeting the wind load calculations, to include motorized lift, new photo eye sensors, exhaust system contacts, wall patching and painting to match existing. New exterior doors are to be primed and painted with direct to metal (DTM) Sherwin Williams paint provided and applied by the contractor. After window shutter and window replacement, contractor shall paint walls, to include labor and material, to match existing. Additionally, bids to include kitchen area restoration, as noted on the plans. Contractor to be familiar FFE’s, and Dedicated Allowance for this project. Apparatus Bay resinous flooring on existing concrete flooring and resurfacing noted on specification 09 67 00, approximately 2000 square feet. Contractor responsible for field measurements.
