Contractor will provide services, vessels, operator/crew and equipment as described below. Survey participants will include employees and volunteers from the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW). It is anticipated that this project will require the services of one contractor who will fish an estimated 15 days with a maximum of 25 days prior to May 31, 2026. WDFW will use data gathered from the survey to evaluate population trends, growth rate and migration of rockfish on the Washington Coast. All areas fished will be selected by WDFW employees with advice from the Contractor or Vessel Operator to achieve completion of study location objectives, including fixed-station sites and random sampling areas. Fishing will typically be conducted along the central and southern Washington coast: north of the Columbia River and south of 47⁰ 28’ Latitude. Location depths will typically range from subtidal to 50 fathoms. Fishing locations may include but are not limited to these locations and depths; locations outside of these specifications may be visited when mutually agreed upon by the Contractor and WDFW project manager. Fishing operations within these location specifications will typically be serviced by the Contractor recruited under this statement of work but may be serviced by any other charter company that is under WDFW contract when deemed necessary to accomplish survey objectives by the WDFW project manager...
