Four-Stall covered boat slip (slips measure 8’x24’) - two outer fingers measure 3’ wide and center finger to measure 6’ wide – Overall footprint of dock to be 50’x28’. The roof should have a pitch of 4/12. Two new walkways with new anchors to be constructed and installed. Frame: Box truss framework that will measure twelve inches deep. 2”x2”x1/4” angle iron to be used for side chords of truss. 1 ½”x 1 ½”x 3/16” angle iron will compose cross bracing in framework. Roof Columns/Rafters: 2 ½” x 2 ½” x 11-gauge square tubing roof columns. 8” zee-purlin rafters. Horizontal wind bracing, composed of 2” x 2” x 14-gauge square tubing, will be installed down the length of each dock finger. All roof columns that have potential to come into contact with watercraft will be equipped with 36” vertical post bumpers (black). Sheet Metal: 26 gauge 7.2N industrial roof panel. Color to be tan (walls and roof) with brown trim. Gap between sheet metal and flotation should be covered with treated lumber to match existing boathouses. Decking: Precast concrete decking, wire reinforced, 11,000 psi compressive strength.
