1 Required Item Carpet Installation at Vacca Campus The Alabama Department of Youth Services is soliciting proposals for the purchase and installation of glue down carpet tiles in the Community Services building at Vacca Campus, located at 8950 Roebuck Blvd. Birmingham, AL 35206. Proposal must include all material, supplies and labor. Provide floor leveling compound as needed. Install glue down carpet tiles on existing slab where old carpet has been removed. Install approximately 4100sq. ft. of 24x24, Square, Patcraft-Studio, Style Z6475, color 00669 Elemental Fire, glue down carpet tiles. Install approximately 900 Linear Ft. of 6-inch cove base, color black. Provide an additional 500 Sq. Ft. of same carpet tiles for DYS Shelf Stock. Style of carpet tile may be changed if the original request is discontinued, with the approval of the agency. Samples of replacement carpet are required before beginning the job. Supplier shall clean up, remove, and dispose of all debris associated with the job. All waste should be hauled to DYS dumpsters by supplier. Supplier is required to clean newly installed flooring to remove any dust, glue or other foreign substances upon job completion.
