The project consists of installing a roundabout and tying in approximately 1100 feet of Euharlee Road, 225 feet of Stiles Road, and approximately 230 feet of a private road. The typical section for the road is an urban 2 lane undivided roadway with curb and gutter, storm drains and sidewalks. Shoulder work includes shoulder and open ditch grading, curb & gutter, sidewalk, and driveways. Other improvements include storm drain installation, gravity wall construction, signing and marking, and erosion control. The proposed intersection is on Euharlee Road approximately 2.6 miles west of its intersection with SR 113. The local county access roads consist of two 10-foot travel lanes with a transition from rural to an urban cross section. Refer to construction plans for paving specifications.
