The Town is seeking a contractor to implement the installation of a municipal fiber optic network as designed by Pare Corporation. The selected contractor will not be responsible for developing a new network design but shall verify the existing design for constructability and proceed with installation in accordance with the drawings and specifications included in this IFB. The full project includes connecting 17 municipal buildings to a centralized fiber optic backbone, entirely through aerial installation using existing utility poles. The design prepared by Pare Corporation does not include any underground segments; however, the contractor shall notify the Town immediately if any unexpected underground conditions are discovered in the field.
