11.1 Disconnect existing electrical, control wiring, piping and ductwork so the exiting RTU units can be safely removed from the roof. 11.2 If necessary, remove existing and provide new roof top curbs 11.3 Roofing material shall be 2 ply SBS Modified Roof. The roof was replaced during the summer of 2024 and is currently under warranty by Garland Roofing. Roofing company must be certified and approved by Garland Roofing. 11.4 Supply, deliver and install two new Trane 20 Ton Electric Cooling, Electric Heat, SelfContained Package Rooftop Units. Attached to this BID is the equipment tag from the original units. New unit to match the performance requirements of the original units. 11.5 Provide all necessary cane, rigging and equipment to safely remove the existing and install the new units. RTU’s cannot be removed or installed while school is in session and occupied. 11.6 Provide all material, labor, supervision and equipment to connect the RTU’s to the existing electrical, piping and ductwork.
