Shredded Cypress Mulch, Grade A, must not be bigger than 3” in size and MUST comply with all plant and nursery stock rules and regulations for Federal, State, County and Local governments. Only cypress mulch, free of foreign matter, shall be considered acceptable. All cypress mulch used must be free of chromated copper arsenate (CCA). Individual bags of mulch are unacceptable. If the shredded cypress mulch does not meet the above requirements upon delivery, it will be the awarded vendor’s responsibility to remove the mulch within 24 hours of delivery at no cost to the District. Additionally, should any costs be incurred by the District due to an unacceptable delivery of mulch, the vendor will be responsible for any associated costs including difference in their price and the purchase price from next acceptable low vendor. NOTE: The School Board will require deliveries to be in quantities of 20 or 40 cubic yards at a time. This delivery size is due to the District’s shortage of stocking space. Please indicate in the Attribute section of IONWAVE that you will adhere to the terms of this delivery size. Any vendor unable to submit in these quantities WILL be disqualified.
