The project involves the replacement of existing vitrified clay pipe (VCP) and PVC sanitary sewer mains within residential streets using trenchless pipe bursting methods. The existing sewer mains will be replaced with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe. The scope of work includes the replacement of approximately 1,183 linear feet of 10-inch diameter VCP with 10-inch HDPE, 1,661 linear feet of 6-inch VCP with 8-inch HDPE, and 451 linear feet of 6-inch PVC with 8-inch HDPE. In addition to pipe replacement, the project includes the rehabilitation and replacement of existing manholes, construction of new manholes, sewer service transfers, and complete restoration of all disturbed areas. This project is funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.
