The project scope includes the replacement of existing underground steam, steam condensate, and pumped condensate piping including the following: Completion in 6 Phases (Phases 2 through 7) with one phase completed per fiscal year starting with Phase 2 in 2026 and Phase 3 in 2027. Bidders are asked to price out Phases 2 and 3 only. All work and sub-phasing shall be completed such that steam, steam condensate, and pumped condensate outages are minimized. Temporary bypasses and valving are to be provided as necessary. Excavation and repair of the existing steam piping system and jacketing. Excavation, demolition and replacement of the existing underground high-pressure steam, steam condensate and pumped condensate piping. Reconnect to existing system, backfill, compact and restore the site and surface. Demolition, repair and reconstruction of manholes to accommodate new pipe expansion considerations and waterproofing
