The Office of Contracting and Procurement, on behalf of the District Department of Transportation (DDOT)—Roadway Services Branch (RSB) seeks a contractor to supply and build two storage facilities at DDOT’s W Street Yard and Farragut Street Yard to replace multiple small aging storage facilities no longer sufficient given the expansion of duties and responsibilities within the program. REQUIREMENTS; Specifications include, but are not limited to: C.5.1 The Contractor shall supply all new and of professional-grade materials to build a galvanized steel framework double coated storage facility whose measurements are: width: 24’ Length: 35’ Height: 12 Sq. Feet: 840. C.5.2 The storage shed shall have a vertical roof with 3/12 pitch. C.5.3 The storage shed shall have a leg height of 12’. C.5.4 The storage shed shall be fully closed with 35ft steel panels. C.5.5 The storage shed sides shall be horizontal panels. C.5.6 The storage shed sides shall have 3ft two-toned panels with deluxe wainscoting. C.5.7 The storage shed shall have two (2) closed end walls measuring 24’x12’ steel panels. C.5.8 The storage shed two (2) ends shall be horizontal panels. C.5.9 The storage shed wainscoting two (2) end walls shall be 3ft two-toned panels deluxe wainscoting. C.5.10 The storage shed shall frame gauge shall be 14-gauge steel studs.
