Perform the Quality Acceptance Testing for expansion of the Taxiway C & D Intersection Reconstruction as defined under AIP 3-08-0043-065/066-2025. The project description is defined below. Prior to beginning work, a start-up meeting will be scheduled at the Airport to go over airport operating procedures, safety considerations and general review of the understanding of the scope of Services. GEOTECHNICAL SERVICE Quality Acceptance Testing The Subconsultant organization shall be responsible for providing on-site testing facilities, curing facilities and testing equipment. In addition to an on-site testing facility, there will be a main testing facility that will be utilized to perform various material testing. The main testing laboratory for the testing organization has been certified by the AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory. The on-site laboratory will have equipment transferred from the main laboratory which was calibrated during the AMRL certification process. On-site laboratory equipment that can have the calibration effected during transportation to the site will be recalibrated on-site prior to usage. The equipment calibrations will be filed in the on-site lab and submitted as required. All equipment used in the on-site lab will be operated by technicians who are certified to use the equipment. During the construction phase, the testing organization shall provide sufficient testing staff and field laboratory facilities for the duration of the project. The paving operations will be completed within 12-hour days. P-401 and P-403 Asphalt Testing. Certified Materials Technicians will perform the necessary asphalt material acceptance testing as detailed in the Project Specification P-401 and P-403. Testing organizations performing these tests will meet the requirements of ASTM D 3666. P-610 Structural Portland Cement Concrete. Certified Materials Technicians will perform the necessary structural Portland cement concrete compressive strength acceptance testing as detailed in the Project Specifications per P-610. Items that will require P-610 are electrical items such as electrical light cans and sign pads, and drainage items such as underdrain cleanouts. Concrete for each structure shall be accepted on the basis of the compressive strength as outlined in the technical specification P-610.
