The City of Brunswick is seeking qualified contractors/individuals to provide comprehensive residential construction services, including both new home construction and the rehabilitation of existing housing. Future projects may include work in any of the categories listed below, though the City may also require services outside of these categories. Proposals should detail the contractors/individuals experience and qualifications in the following areas: New Residential Construction: Construction of single-family and multi-family housing that aligns with the City’s development goals, building codes, and architectural standards. Contractors should demonstrate experience delivering high-quality residential construction projects on time and within budget. Residential Rehabilitation: Repair, restoration, and modernization of existing homes, including structural, interior, and exterior improvements. Experience with historic homes or older structures that require updates to meet current codes is highly desirable. Site Preparation and Infrastructure: Work may include grading, utility connections, driveway installation, sidewalks, stormwater management, and other site improvements necessary to support residential housing development. Exterior and Interior Finishing: Installation or repair of roofing, siding, windows, doors, flooring, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and other residential finish work. Code Compliance and Permitting: Ensure all construction and rehabilitation work meets local and state building codes and coordinates with City staff for inspections and permitting as required
