1. Site Preparation: Grade the designated spot for the building. 2. Building Supports: Construct min 2-ft diameter x 4-ft footers with 4,000 psi concrete for all building posts. Footers to be steel reinforced per code and structural design requirements. All posts are to be 6x6 treated lumber. Rough opening between posts along front entrance of building are to be spaced 15-ft apart. 3. Interior Tool Room: Prepare a 12-ft x 12-ft area in the back left corner of the building site with gravel and moisture barrier. See “Concrete Pad with Turn Down” detail in attached exhibit. Pour 4-in thick, 4,000 psi concrete slab with 12-in x 8-in turn down, reinforced with Welded Wire Fabric (WWF) sheets 6x6-W2.9xW2.9. Use 2”x4” studs, 2”x6” overhead joists and ¾-inch plywood to frame and cover the tool room. Install a 36-in metal door with a lock. 4. Building Structure: Size: 30-ft wide by 60-ft long with 15-ft high walls (eve height). Wind loads: design to meet all building codes Posts: 6x6 treated lumber Top/Bottom Plate: 2x8 treated lumber Girts: 2x6 @ 2’ OC Purlins: 2x4 @ 2’ OC Truss: 30’clear span A@ 4’ OC at 4/12 pitch (wooden) 5. Building Siding and Roofing: Metal: 36-in width at 26-gauge side and roof. Install metal siding on three (3) sides of the frame. Install metal roofing. Colors to be selected by Owner. 6. Building Flooring: Compact subbase and place geotextile fabric and top Place a minimum of four (4) inches of 2-in stone one top of the geotextile fabric. Place a minimum of two (2) inches of crusher run stone on top of the 2-in stone.
