The vendor should indicate availability and lead times. Quantities shown on the bid form are not actual quantities to be purchased. Quantities shown on the bid form are for the purpose of evaluating the bids and determining the lowest and/or best bid. 3. General Requirements All pipe materials shall meet the following minimum criteria: Minimum design service life: 75 years • Minimum Manning's roughness coefficient (n-value): 0.012 Pipe shall be structurally sound and capable of supporting expected earth and live loads in accordance with AASHTO standards. 4. Acceptable Pipe Types The following pipe materials are acceptable, provided they meet the performance criteria above: • Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) with polymer coating or aluminized Type 2, meeting ASTM A760 and AASHTO M245, with documented 75-year service life. • Corrugated Aluminum Alloy Pipe meeting AASHTO M196 and ASTM B745, with proven durability, with documented 75-year service life. • High-Performance Polypropylene Pipe (HP Storm or equivalent) meeting AASHTO M330 and ASTM F2881.
