Maury County Government desires to enter into an agreement for LICENSED ARMED Security Services for the Maury County Columbia Library located at 211 W 8th St in Columbia, Tennessee. Bidders will be required to submit a copy of their license with their bid. The Library building contains approximately 19,590 square feet in area. Prospective bidders will be required to do frequent walk-throughs both inside and outside the building during all hours of operation. We require all incidents, if any to be documented on an incident report sheet and reported to the Library Director, Meghan Cyr IMMEDIATELY. Maury County requests that the guard be armed and in a company provided uniform. The hours of operation are M-W 8am-8pm and Th-Sat 9am-5pm with all county posted holidays off. These days and times are tentative and may be subject to change. The services requested under this invitation are tentatively scheduled to begin September 2025 and will continue each month until June 30, 2026.
