Mandated by SEC; Explanation of the need to be fulfilled by this item(s), how is it unique from all other options, and why it is the only one that can meet the specific needs of the department: Daktronics specializes in designing, engineering and manufacturing digital LED display technology and audio systems. Per new requirement by the Southeastern Conference (SEC), it is a requirement to have these clocks/timers at every basketball event.
