The Michigan Department of Transportation is seeking a vendor to provide additional components for our current underdrain video inspection equipment. This additional equipment must be compatible with our current underdrain inspection camera. This request is for additional components for our current Minicam CCU208 portable control unit underdrain video inspection equipment. We've seen a significant increase in the number of requests from the Regions and from central office staff for inspection of larger diameter culvert and pipe. This additional equipment will allow our camera to be used in more circumstances, and to provide assessments and scoping assistance for much larger pipe than currently possible, helping us to meet this increased need. All parts are manufactured by Minicam. 1 each 140mm Proteus Crawler: steerable 6-wheel drive, motorized lift assembly, inclination sensor, tilt sensor, and sonde transmitter – capable of centering in 6” – 24” pipe. Include 6 rubber tires; 4 each: 115 mm soft rubber wheel: center in 8” – 15” pipe; 140 mm soft rubber wheel: center in 12” – 20” pipe; 140 mm soft rubber wheel with XL hub: center in 12” – 24” pipe; 1 each Large diameter cradle: extend crawler capability for CRP140, include 4, 8” (215mm) tires; 4 each 10" balloon wheel
