The City of Spokane, through its Police Department (hereinafter “City”), is initiating this Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) to solicit proposals from Organizations that have the capacity and experience to deepen relationships, trust and engagement between diverse cross-sections of the community and the Spokane Police Department. This program’s project goals and desired outcomes are: • Deepen community relationships, communication, and partnership with the Spokane Police Department to improve community safety. • Support underserved populations, improve public safety, and foster community resilience through trauma-informed and holistic service delivery. • Enhance engagement with historically marginalized communities to improve trust, legitimacy, and public safety.
