Franklin County seeks sealed bids for the purchase of food for the Senior Nutrition Program managed by Franklin County Office for the Aging at eight different adult centers located within Franklin County. This program provides both congregate and home delivered meals to individuals 60 and older. Also food bid can be utilized by the Franklin county Jail. The scope of this bid is to award a contract to a qualifying vendor defined as a manufacturer, provider, or dealer/distributor, and deemed responsive and responsible. The Bidders are responsible to ensure that food products, kitchen supplies and sundries, and services offered, meet or exceed State and Federal regulations and laws. The products include, but are not limited to: • Grocery – dry, refrigerated, frozen, canned • Beverages • Dairy products • Meat/Poultry/Fish • Fresh Produce
