The City of West Haven is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors to provide On-Call Plumbing Services on an as-needed basis for various City-owned buildings and facilities. The intent of this solicitation is to establish a list of multiple contractors who may be called upon to perform plumbing services during the contract period. The selected contractors shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supervision necessary to perform plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance as directed by the City. Successful contractors will be required to provide plumbing services including but not limited to: Routine maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems Installation of new plumbing fixtures and piping Emergency plumbing services Contractor must respond within 2 hours premium Contractor must respond within 1 hour during normal business hours Backflow prevention testing and repairs Clearing of blockages and drainage issues Compliance with all applicable codes and regulations Contractors must provide labor rates for standard hours and premium rates for after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
