The proposed project is broken down into several components. Reroofing: The original Meriwether County Courthouse is a historic landmark building built in 1903 on the main thoroughfare in Greenville, GA. The copper roof currently leaks and plans and specifications will specify a coating and other means, coating, tpo roofing and flashing to correct leaks. Structural Repair: There will be some structural repair required on the interior of the bell tower. Exterior Brick and Stone work: There will be specified some repair work made to stone work, brick work, caulking and tuck pointing. Interior Finishes: Leaks from the bell tower have damaged some interior ceilings, wood work and finishes. The third floor will require all new finishes to include ceilings, lighting, paint, carpet, LVP and both wood and rubber base. Some remedial work will be required.
