• The Contractor must completely abate and properly dispose of asbestos and lead containing materials as detailed in the attached Asbestos Abatement and Lead in Construction Specification. • The Contractor must completely demolish and properly dispose of the approximately 55,100 sq. ft. school building, including all concrete slabs, foundation walls, foundations, asphalt pavement, trees and hedges. All remaining voids shall be backfilled with reasonable material that’s free of debris, stumps, roots, and any other organic materials. Backfilled material shall be compacted and graded to match the existing grade. • The successful Contractor must provide all labor, transportation, equipment, permits and fees necessary to perform demolition and abatement services, to include the removal of rubble and debris, including hazardous materials, to an appropriate disposal area. . • Should any property damage occur to adjacent property, or existing property not included in the demolition project scope of work, the Contractor will be responsible for providing restitution to the affected party.
