a. Contractor/TPQEI shall be responsible for the coordination and witnessing of the State of Maryland mandated elevator inspections performed by the PGCPS elevator contractor for providing elevator maintenance and repair services for all elevators and conveyance systems. b. Contractor/TPQEI shall perform services at the direction of the PGCPS Building Services designee. c. Contractor/TPQEI shall observe and report on the inspection process as mandated by the State of Maryland. Contractor/TPQEI is responsible for completing and submitting all required forms to the State of Maryland (DLLR.) Such forms may include the Third Party Periodic Inspection & Test Report, Inspection Violation, Safety Order (if applicable) and any additional testing forms required to be witnessed by statute. One copy of the report shall be submitted to the State of Maryland (DLLR) and one copy will remain on site. A third copy of the report must be forwarded to the appropriate PGCPS Building Services designee. d. All Inspections must be scheduled and performed May through August of each calendar year. The TPQEI will coordinate with the appropriate PGCPS elevator contractor to make sure that they are present during all inspections. Inspections must be coordinated with the school staff and building maintenance personnel at least 48 hours prior to the inspection date. The TPQEI will provide a schedule to the PGCPS Building Services designee at least 60 days prior to the first inspection.
