SCS is seeking bids for the complete demo and removal of boilers 1 & 2 and complete installation of 2 new boilers. The complete installation will require the following: ● Electrical work to bring power back to the new boilers ● Controls work to be completed to tie back into our BMS system ● Exhaust duct work will need to be adapted to fit new boilers and our current exhaust stack ● Natural gas lines will need to be reworked and plumbed into the new boilers ● The new boilers will require a factory authorized rep to complete and document startup of the new boilers. Special note: the contractor is responsible for verifying that any programs in the BMS system will not violate manufacturer's specifications for boiler operations. The boiler requirements are to meet and/or exceed the specifications of boiler 3 which was replaced 1 year ago. Schoolcraft prefers an identical boiler to what is listed below. The awarded contractor will be responsible to apply for and receive all necessary state permits to complete this project. Boilers 1 and 2 will need to be installed per the manufacturer's specifications. All MIOSHA rules will need to be adhered to and followed on this project at all times
