2.1 Objective King County is seeking vendor(s) to provide an extensive supply of Groundskeeping Materials and Fertilizer for several locations across King County. 2.2 General Requirements A. Qualifications 1. Be an authorized distributor or manufacturer. 2. Be able to meet the product requirements and delivery schedule. 3. Have sufficient product inventory to meet the needs of King County. 2.3 Product Requirements A. Fertilizer 1. A complete and comprehensive line of fertilizer products that meets typical industry standards and complies with applicable government laws and regulations. Fertilizers may be liquid, dry, organic, soluble; bulk/bagged; custom-blended; lime and land plaster; lawn and garden; specialty and granulated. Natural fertilizers are primarily organic base products and may include some inorganic components. Fertilizers using only a polymer coated urea for slow release shall have a minimum 45-day release rating. 2.4 Product Specifications A. Fertilizer 1. Product Packaging: Product shall be packaged in weather and tear resistant material in not more than 50lb containers. Liquid products shall be in plastic containers not exceeding 2.5 gallons. a. 14-25-12 Polyon Fertilizer: • Total Nitrogen - 14% • 5.2880% Ammoniacal Nitrogen • 8.7120% Urea Nitrogen • Available Phosphate (P₂ O₅) - 25% • Soluble Potash (K₂ O) - 12% b. 25-0-10 Polyon Fertilizer • Total Nitrogen - 25% • 25% Urea Nitrogen • Soluble Potash (K₂ O) - 10% • Iron - 2% c. Fertilizer prill standard sizes shall be within the range of 200 to 240 SGN (Size Guide Number). Green grade prill SGN shall be within the range of 70-150 SGN
