1. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THAT NO PERSONS ARE IN THE HOUSE PRIOR TO COMMENCING DEMOLITION WORK. IF ANY PERSONS ARE PRESENT, CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT THE DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IMMEDIATELY. 2. Demolish the existing house. 3. Remove all private sidewalks, patios and concrete slabs. 4. *Remove and properly dispose of all rubbish, brush and debris located on the lot and in, and around, the buildings. 5. *Remove all trees and vegetation around perimeter of the foundation of house. 6. *PLEASE NOTE: The City requests two bid amounts. • One that follows the normal guidelines being: Break apart all foundation parts for all buildings. Clean brick or concrete can be used to fill the basement of the house. All others must be removed. • One that includes the COMPLETE REMOVAL of all foundation parts and filling with clean dirt fill. Fill dirt MUST be inspected prior to filling the void. Fill shall be bucket compacted. 7. *Demolition debris shall be disposed of in accordance with all applicable ordinances, statutes and regulations both state and federal, including but not limited to the IEPA, and EPA regulations which pertain to the manner of demolition and type of refuse as well as the type of structure being demolished.
