The Virginia Highway Safety Office (VAHSO) is seeking a vendor to develop and supply custom slap-on wristbands and associated QR code stickers. This project is funded by the DMV Highway Safety grant funds and will support a statewide educational and outreach campaign aimed at preventing pediatric heatstroke in unattended vehicles by serving as daily reminders for caregivers and collecting feedback via an online survey. Project Deliverables Custom Slap-On Wristbands Quantity: 20,000 units Material: 100% silicone, hypoallergenic Size: 10-inch, larger than standard adult size Color: Bright neon yellow for high visibility Design: Sturdy, molded construction; ink-filled and embossed message (not screen-printed) for durability and long-lasting visibility. The message will be provided. Features: Comfortable for daily use, able to snap onto steering wheels or car seats when not worn Individual Packaging Each wristband must be individually packaged Packaging must include: Heavy card stock package - size 7.5” x 3.0” Wristbands should be securely wrapped around this packaging Clear steps or instructions for use and how to care for should be printed on back of packaging Infographics or educational collateral fact sheets on pediatric heatstroke prevention can be provided (if needed) QR Code Stickers Each package will have a custom sticker affixed Sticker specifications: Size: 1 3/8 inch (to cover existing bar codes on packaging) Print: Black ink QR code Function: QR code must link directly to the project’s online survey for feedback collection
