Provide a minimum of one security guard 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, according to a shift schedule approved by LCRA. The security guards shall perform services including the following: o Prevent unauthorized persons from entering the buildings or loitering. o Secure site and equipment from vandalism or theft; o Observe and immediately report illegal activities or emergencies to local authorities. o Roving patrols of interior and exterior building areas; o Daily incident and end-of-shift reports; o Monitoring and responding to video footage, building intrusion detection systems, alarms, and fire detection equipment; o Responding as necessary to support other life safety duties as identified in post orders and standard operating procedures; o Interfacing with other security, law enforcement, or first responder personnel concerning matters involving the facility; o Security personnel must be equipped with radios, flashlights, cell phones or other communication devices, and vehicles clearly marked with the company’s logo. All equipment must be in good working condition and sufficient for 24/7 operations.; o All other security needs as may be identified by LCRA. o Respondent shall provide appropriate and necessary management and supervision for all its employees and shall be solely responsible for instituting and invoking disciplinary action of employees not in compliance with Respondent’s rules and regulations, as well as any other policy established by Respondent and LCRA. o Respondents shall develop a comprehensive set of Post Orders documenting both general procedures as well as site-specific responsibility. Post Orders shall be prepared prior to the commencement of services and must be provided to LCRA not later than fourteen (14) days after execution of contract for review and approval. All security officers will be required to read and verify they understand the Post Orders. o Respondents shall ensure hiring, training and administration of motivated and professional employees that meet or exceed both Contractor's and LCRA’s standards. o Respondent is responsible for the daily personal appearance of security personnel. Respondent shall provide seasonal uniforms and weather-appropriate protective clothing necessary to support continuous performance of contract requirements.
