The Contractor shall supply the agencies with bulk argon for 1500 liter tank. The tank shall be the current tank or a new Perma-Cyl® microbulk storage tank manufactured by the Chart Company of Garfield Heights, Ohio, or approved equal. The current tank is located in room A-105 at the Minnesota Department of Health and Agriculture’s Laboratory facility located at 601 North Robert Street, St. Paul, MN 55155. The bulk tank is housed in a bulk tank storage room that was designed for this type of microbulk storage tank, and the tank will not be moved outside. The tank will be filled based upon determination of the liquid levels in the tank by the Contractor, using the Contractor supplied telemetry system with Ultra High Purity (UHP) Argon, 99.998% minimum purity. The 1,500-liter microbulk tank must have a maximum allowable working pressure of 350 PSIG (24.1 bar). The tank connected to the current gas lines must be capable of delivering 150 PSIG + 25 PSIG throughout the building. The Contractor is not responsible for maintenance or any upgrading of the Ventilation System. If a new tank needs to be installed, it must be a 1,500-liter microbulk tank, installed with a pressure regulator and remote fill capabilities for filling the tank from outside of the building. The tank must be remotely monitored and Bulk Argon delivered as needed.
