Conducting Sharpshooting Operations: Contractor must: • With at least 8 weeks advance notice, coordinate dates and sites of operation with approval from the County Project Officer (CPO) and conduct sharpshooting operations in line with the approved Operational Plan from Task 1. The work must be conducted in close coordination with the County. The CPO, at their sole discretion, may deny the Contractor permission to operate within the County on specific dates or at specific locations due to safety, logistics, or other considerations. • Throughout operations, take all reasonable steps to work safely, efficiently, humanely, and productively to maximize the number of deer harvested on each day of operation until reaching County population reduction goals, which will be determined by the County for two separate riparian corridors in each year of operation. When safe and practicable, take full advantage of the active sharpshooting window determined by the County during days of operation. It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to manage the details of the execution and performance of its work; however, the performance of the Contractor is subject to the review and approval of the CPO. The CPO may shut down Contractor operations at any time if the CPO, at their sole discretion, deems those operations to be unsafe, inhumane, or out of regulatory compliance.
